Katie Draper is a metabolic dietitian based out of Atlanta, GA. She began working in the field of genetics and metabolism at Emory University where she completed a Post-Master's Clinical and Research Fellowship. She worked with a variety of IEM patients in the clinical and research setting while providing nutrition education to Georgia IEM patients in the grant-supported program, MNT4P. After her fellowship, she transitioned to a Research Dietitian role in the Department of Human Genetics and the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance as a bionutritionist specializing in body composition, feeding studies, and energy expenditure.

Katie studied Dietetics at the University of Georgia and completed her Master of Science and dietetic internship at Georgia State University. She currently works in the oncology industry, but stays involved in metabolics by serving on the research committee for GMDI and the board of Georgia PKU Connect.
