Dr. MacLeod is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of Metabolic Nutrition in the Rare Disease Institute at Children’s National. For the past 15 years she has been part of an experienced clinical team that manages over 600 patients with inborn errors of metabolism and participates in a variety of clinical research projects. She has developed a passion for the treatment of urea cycle disorders and is trying to better understand growth and feeding challenges in this population. Dr. MacLeod has published and presented nationally and internationally on a variety of topics related to the nutritional management of individuals with inborn errors of metabolism. Outside of Children’s National, she is co-lead faculty for MetEd’s Metabolic University; and is a current board member of flok™. She is a past-president of GMDI and an active member of the Communications, Membership, and Research Committees.
