Mary received her bachelor and master’s degree in nutrition at California State University, Long Beach and has a credential in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP). She has worked at CHOC Children’s as a pediatric dietitian for 30+ years and 20+ years in the Metabolic Clinic. In 2013, Mary helped establish the RD Residency program at CHOC. To date there have been 18 graduates in the program. Mary has been actively involved in GMDI, she is a past-president, Co-Chair on the VLCAD guidelines, and has served on several other committees.
