Tope Pedro, MPH, RD, CSP is a Metabolic and NICU Clinical Dietitian at Stanford Medicine, Children’s Health in Palo Alto, CA. She has 7 years of experience in metabolics working as part of the biochemical genetics team to manage and direct the nutrition care of patients with inborn errors of metabolism from infancy to adulthood in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is also a Metabolic Research Dietitian with Stanford and Uncommon Cures. Tope was a workshop presenter at the 2022 and 2024 GMDI Conferences and a presenter at the 2022 SSIEM Symposium. As a GMDI member, Tope has served as a NAMA Foundations Course Faculty member representing GMDI, co-chair for the ad hoc Committee on Mentorship, and has been an active member in the ad hoc Nutrition Guidelines Workgroup for Urea Cycle Disorders, the 2026 GMDI Conference Planning Committee, and the Clinical Trials and Diet Assessment Workgroup.
