Camille Bonta is Principal of Summit Health Care Consulting, advising national health organizations on policy and advocacy since 2007. With more than 30 years in health care communications and policy, including work in Congress and leadership of major coalitions, she brings deep expertise to a range of policy issues, including reimbursement, health system reform and patient access to care. Camille was responsible for the launch of the Patients and Providers for Medical Nutrition Equity, of which GMDI is a member. In this role, she has coordinated the legislative, regulatory and grassroots activities of the Coalition with the goal of advancing policies that ensure better coverage and access to specialized foods and formulas for the treatment and management of patients with metabolic and digestive diseases and disorders. She holds a degree in journalism from Ohio University and a master’s in health science from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
