Sara Guillen- Lopez is a clinical research dietitian at the National Institute of Pediatrics in Mexico City and has been in metabolics over 17 years in addition to working with neurology patients on the ketogenic diet. She has participated as a speaker in national and international conferences and meetings. With her team, she has published more than 50 research publications peer-reviewed in national and international journals. She works with new metabolic diagnoses, and also closely monitors inborn errors of metabolism patients to ensure best outcomes and access to medical formulas. She has been a GMDI member since 2010 and she is currently serving as chair at the ad hoc International Workgroup.
